The woolly mammoth, also wool or fur mammoth, is an extinct species from the elephant family. This type of mammoth developed in the transition from the Old Pleistocene to the Middle Pleistocene around 800,000 to 600,000 years ago in Siberia and inhabited the cold-age steppes in northern Eurasia and North America.
Adult animals reached a height at the withers of 2.8 to 3.75 m and a weight between 5 and 6 tons.
Size of the replica around 22 cm x 9 cm x 6 cm.
